Shari Carlson Studio—Dedicated to the Working Actor
San Francisco
Shari Carlson Studio is the only studio in San Francisco and Hollywood dedicated to the working actor. We have classes in acting (Film, TV and Stage) and singing. Acting Class Schedule in San Francisco is Monday at 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Ongoing Work. Singing is on Sunday and Tuesday at 6:00pm.
Just as the Emperor had no clothes, There Is No Method. Actors must work with their own personal inspiration, as all the greats do. The moment and your source of inspiration, which is the breath, is truth. Anything less is just somebody talking.

Preparation:
Acting Class — Bring in a monologue that you are passionate about from material that you would like to be cast in. You do not have to have it memorized for your first class.
Singing Class — Bring in the sheet music or chord chart to a song that you are passionate about singing. If you can't find one, just get here.
Hollywood
Hollywood Acting Class - This is a 4 class session. Friday, from 2:30 to 6:00pm. Class is limited to 10 working actors. If you are interested in this session contact me.
